New to Church? New to Cardiff?
If you’re new to Park End we really want to welcome you here!
Whether you are returning to church after a break or completely new to the idea, you are very welcome and we hope you feel at home in our church.
A great way to find out more about Park End is to come and join us at one of our Sunday services. We’re really excited to be back in church for our 11am Sunday morning service. It is no longer necessary to reserve a seat, so please just come along.
Our minister is Owen: email@example.com
Our church worker is Phil: firstname.lastname@example.org
We are here to help, just get in touch!
Here's a short video in which Owen talks about our church and also gives you a quick tour around our building!
Here's a bit more information that it might be useful for you to know.
Key information about the church...
Where & when does the church meet?
Our church meets lots of times during the week, but our main meetings are every Sunday at 11am (right now we are not holding our 6pm service due to COVID 19). Perhaps aim to arrive 15 minutes early to ensure you get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.
We meet at:
Cardiff CF23 6EG
You can see a map on our contact us page.
What should I expect when I visit the church?
You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. We pray, sing, read the bible, hear a talk about Jesus. We hope to be able to re-instate our tea, coffee and biscuits after the service very soon, which is a great time to meet new people and ask more questions.
For anyone wanting a quiet time of prayer after the morning service, one of our Elders will be available to pray with you in our Vestry (a small quiet room).
What happens to the children at church?
At Park End Church we believe that local church is one of God’s greatest gifts to the world. Church is where people from all walks of life can gather to worship the Living God together, learn from Him, and teach each other. We believe that children are a huge part of Bible enjoyment and we love including their amazing insights into the life of the church.
Is there a dress code?
The children start off in the main service each week and then our team of amazing junior church leaders will take the children out for craft and discussion with activities based on the talk. Of course, this is optional and your children can sit with you if you'd prefer.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask or for more information about what happens in the children's work please do get in touch.
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.
Will I have to join in?
Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask them.
Please feel free to contact us.
